Our sea kayaks comprise a new fleet of 14 ft (4.4m) long Necky Manitou 14s and Zoar Sports. These are extremely comfortable, with great back support and padded seats. They have drop down skegs or rudders. We also have bigger Necky Kyooks and Necky Narpas (5m/ 17ft) for long-distance kayaking. Discount available for children and groups. We also have some double kayaks, these are good for children from about age of 8/9 to 13 and must be with adult, must be requested when booking.

Ratings of trips 

Easy 3 hours, open to all 12+, easy kayaking, short journeys, Beginners

Medium 5+ hours, open to all 14+, medium journeys, Beginners+

Hard 5-6 hours, age 16+, medium-long journeys, strenuous, intermediate

Your chance of capsizing is very low, very stable kayaks, we provide wetsuit (long or short), booties, waterproof/windproof jacket, life jacket / Bouyancy Aid. Non-swimmers can also kayak, Easy trips.

You need to bring swimwear, towels and perhaps drink, hat, waterproof camera and sunscreen

Normal Group size: We run trip with Min 2  and max 7, can cater for groups of 20+

Weather: Kayaking is a watersport. The only weather that would cancel the trip is strong winds, deposits or payment will be transfered or refunded if we cancel due to the wind / weather.

For groups of 2-5 50% Deposit required on booking, 6+ 25% deposit required. Any changes to booking can be made as long 24 hours notice is given, then booking can be changed and deposit will be refunded. Any changes made less than 24 hours prior to booking ten customer must pay 100%  payment for numbers booked. Irish Adventures will therefor charge for full amount owed on credit card/ laser that booking was made on for full 100% amount of booking

Kayaking with Fungi - Easy

Enjoy a half-day's sea kayaking in Dingle Harbour, see Fungi the Dolphin at the mouth of the harbour and explore some of the many sea caves.This trip is available to all - beginners to advanced paddlers. Although not physically demanding, it provides a great introduction to sea kayaking, covering basic kayaking skills.

Times: 09.30 to 12.30 and 2.00 to 5.00            Cost €50 adult, €45 teenagers, €40 under 12’s

Sunset Sea-Kayaking -  Easy

Experience the peaceful waters of Dingle Harbour and Dingle Bay at their most tranquil at the end of the day. This trip is available to all - beginners to advanced paddlers. It is not arduous but as well as visiting Fungi and sea caves, it also covers basic kayaking skills.

Kayak from Dunmore Head, the most westerly point of Ireland and Europe across the Blasket Sound to the isolated, abandoned Great Blasket Island.
